I build SubmitMap: a directory of launch platforms and a phased route of guides that tell indie hackers where to submit a product and exactly how. Free to read, no account needed.
Why I build
I kept hitting the same wall at the end of every build. The product was done, and then came the part nobody writes down: where do you actually put it, which of those links is worth an hour, and what does each form want from you. So I started keeping notes. Which platforms have real traffic, what they reject on sight, the gotcha that costs you a resubmission. The notes turned into SubmitMap: a directory of launch platforms plus guides in the order you'd actually do them, free to read, no account needed. The part I care about most is the boring accuracy. Anyone can list 400 directories. Knowing which twelve are worth your evening, and exactly what each one asks for, is the work. Lately I've been pushing it further: connect SubmitMap to an AI agent over MCP and it does the submitting itself, one form at a time, with each form's traps written down for it in advance. I build alone, in public, mostly with Claude Code. If you're about to launch something and don't know where to send it, that's who I made this for.
