Getting a ship up

How do I put something on Havor?

Havor takes a build at any point in its life, including before it works. That changes what the form asks you for.

The stage you're at

4 stages

It isn't finished. Can I still post it?

Yes. Idea, In progress, Beta, Live — all four can be backed, ranked and followed.

Asks forA name and what you're going to build

Nothing exists yet, so nothing is asked for. This is the earliest Havor takes anything — and the point of taking it is that feedback can still change it.

Not waiting until it's done — No stage is a waiting room. Launching is the last stop, not the entry fee.

Two berths, one catalogue. Same feed, same backing, same score.

Not a holding pen — Nothing gets promoted for you. You move a ship across yourself.

The submit wizard

3 drafts

It asks what you're posting before it asks for details, so an idea never gets a form built for a launch. Leave whenever — your work is kept as a draft.

Format and category

4 formats max

Is a CLI a different thing from a web app?

Yes, and both are formats. Format is what KIND of thing it is; category is the problem it works on.

Review

Before it's public

I submitted it. Now what?

Every ship is checked before it appears, and you're told where it docked. Turned back? You get a numbered list of what to fix on the edit page.

Not a queue you can jump — There is no fast lane. A complete submission is just quicker to clear.

Moving a ship forward

Forward only

on the ship's edit page

It's live now. How do I say so?

A ship moves forward through the stages and never back, so your profile stays a record. Paused and Retired are exits off that line, takeable from anywhere.

Portfolio imports

90+ days old

A launch more than 90 days old joins your profile and the catalogue like any other ship, but it doesn't announce itself to your crew as a launch.

Not a relaunch — It is old work, so it stays quiet. Arriving here still counts, so it ranks like any new ship.

Import past work

Co-builders

They accept

on the ship's edit page

Two of us made this. How do we both get credit?

Invite them; once they accept, the ship appears on their profile too. Credited builders can't vouch for its Verified mark, so a pair can't self-verify.

The Verified ship mark

Revocable

A real link, description and screenshot, checked by review, plus proof it's yours or genuine responses from other builders. It records that, not quality.

Not something you can buy or ask for — The response has to come from someone with standing here.

Private ships

No limit

on the ship's edit page

A private ship is off the catalogue and opens through a link instead — one per recipient, each revocable. Reversible, and it deletes nothing.

What trips people up

Limits on purpose, not rough edges.

The link is what reviewers actually open

A dead link, a login wall or a waitlist page is the most common turn-back. If there's nothing to open yet, that build belongs in the Yard.

A saved draft hasn't been submitted

Leaving the wizard keeps your work but doesn't queue it — a draft is visible to nobody. You can hold 3.
