Katto turns long videos, podcasts and Twitch VODs into short, captioned, vertical 9:16 clips ready to post. Paste link or upload a file, and it finds the strongest moments, scores each clip on hook, flow, value and trend, reframes to vertical with face tracking and split-screen, and burns word-by-word captions in 99 languages. You can also dub into 8 languages and publish to 7 platforms. It is one flat price with no per-minute credits: 25 videos a month, up to 90 minutes each. And it is built to be automated: a hosted MCP server and REST API let it run from Claude, Cursor, an n8n workflow, or your own app, not just the dashboard.

I got tired of video clippers that charge by credits or per-minute. You buy 100 credits, burn through them on a couple of long podcasts, and you are back at the paywall before you have really tried the thing. The pricing punished exactly the long-form creators the tool is supposed to help. So I built Katto: one flat price, no credits, no per-minute math. 25 videos a month, up to 90 minutes each. Along the way I also made it work from inside AI agents, so you can clip a video straight from Claude, Cursor, or your own code through an MCP server and a REST API. That part started as a weekend experiment and became the thing developers like most.
