Weft is a parametric designer for the web. Drag nodes onto a canvas, wire them together, and watch the output redraw live on every animation frame. The left side (the loom) weaves the logic; the right side (the cloth) draws it. It ships with 170+ nodes across params, inputs, state, math, sets, vectors, curves, transforms, 3D, display and audio, plus color-coded typed wires and 21 curated examples. Mouse, keyboard, time and mic inputs make sketches interactive, audio nodes turn geometry into sound, and Custom JS nodes let you drop to code when you need to. Share a graph with a URL, or export it as standalone JavaScript. Built for digital designers, creative coders, teachers, researchers and anyone who thinks in flows.
I've always wanted a parametric node-based interface where I can create interactive forms live on the web. Weft is becoming something where anyone can open a model, play with it and share it. Weft started as a recreation of Grasshopper (A plugin for Rhino 3D) in the browser and has grown past it with live data, audio and interaction. I built it for myself and other Grasshopper lovers working in digital design, and I'm curious where it goes next: teaching math and geometry, experimental instruments, or new ways of building with LLMs. I've got an agentic interface working but there's no revenue for this so right now you need a code to run the agent. Hope to turn this into a membership site so users can save creations to the cloud, create and publish their own nodes, and use an MCP to co-create with agents more fluidly.
